Summary
Ingrid takes a deep breath. “Ferdinand broke up with me because I kissed Edelgard at the hospital, and now I have to go home and marry Glenn.”
Linhardt makes a startled noise beneath her, and Lysithea’s eyebrows shoot up. Tightening her grip on Ingrid’s shoulder, Marianne says quietly, “maybe you should start from the beginning.”

Summary
It was four years ago that Sylvain Gautier emerged, bloody and battered, from the arena, carried to “victory” by his wits and his charm. He thought it would get easier from there, but the Capitol isn’t done with him. There’s no clever strategy that will allow him to carry both of his best friends—District 9 tributes Felix Fraldarius and Ingrid Galatea—safely home.
Let the 58th annual Hunger Games begin.

Summary
Deep in the northern woods, like something out of a nightmare, lives the White Beast of Faerghus in all its demonic glory. Its appearance changes depending on the legend in question and on its teller: sometimes, the Beast is a wolf with fangs that size of a grown man’s forearm, while other times, it is a magical monster covered in scales, something closer to wyvern. Sometimes it has eyes that can paralyze or a horrible screech. Sometimes it sings a haunting lullaby that attracts all manner of creatures for it to feast upon. In every incarnation, however, it is a man-killer, utterly without mercy, yet keenly intelligent and fully capable of stalking its prey, luring them in, or snatching them silently in the dead of night.
When an Adrestian princess is captured, Sylvain goes hunting for the beast that may have taken her - and that killed his best friend years ago. His motley crew consists of a disguised knight, a reluctant scholar, the enthusiastic son of a disgraced prime minister, and a healer who tells ghost stories a little too well.
What they find is not at all what Sylvain expects.
