...Reinhard's sword, "Dragon Sword Reid", a sword that can only be unsheathed when facing a worthy opponent, reacted to Subaru as a worthy opponent and was capable of being unsheathed. The exact conditions are vague, but we know he can unsheathe this sword against the likes of Cecilus Segmunt, Theresia van Astrea, and Puck.
This is a hypothetical recreation of Reinhard's perspective of their first meeting all the way back in Arc 1, based on my own guesses on how he'd react. According to Tappei, from Reinhard's perspective, Subaru looked "seriously bad". I wanted to incorporate those thoughts, somehow. So here is my guess of what his perspective would've been like!
