“Andrew,” Renee said, and Andrew allowed himself to lean on her for a split second, only long enough to find his balance. She didn’t waver. “Your nose is bleeding,” she whispered, so he brought a hand up to his face, resisting the urge to lick his lips. His blood was warm against his fingertips.
It felt like his nose was broken.
“Shit,” Neil said again, and Andrew looked up just in time to see an overwhelming amount of dizzying blue eyes and dark auburn curls. He shut his eyes for a moment, but when he opened them again, Neil was still there, vivid and concerned as ever. "Oh god, you're bleeding everywhere."
Andrew spit into the grass at his feet, the taste of copper on his tongue, and said, simply, "Fuck you."
(Or, the one in which Neil is in color guard, Andrew is in drum line, and everyone thinks they hate each other because everyone is literally blind.)

Summary
"Go on," Andrea presses, pushing the knife impossibly closer to her. Finally, the woman's gaze flits downwards, and Andrea can hear her low, sharp inhale. It would only take the slightest twitch of the blonde's fingers to puncture the unmarred skin of the stranger's neck. "I'd rather not get blood on my clothing."
She wasn't bluffing, and both her and the woman knew it. Andrea's gaze held every question she might've asked— behave or I'll slit your throat and leave you to bleed out on my floor.
That's when the stranger's lips finally begin to part. However, it's not to offer an admission of what she had done, or even to plead for her life. Instead, a slow and oddly unnerving smile begins to curve at her lips, the expression callous and utterly wicked.
"Try it," she heaves, and the sure conviction in her words makes Andrea's skin crawl all over. "See what happens."
Or, the last thing Andrea needs in her life is a clingy, exy-obsessed ghost only she can see. Then again, when has she ever gotten what she wanted?

Summary
"I…" Neil starts, unable to do anything but gape in utter awe. It nearly takes him an eternity, but he eventually finds the means to use his voice again. "Who are you? What's your name?"
The man's lips twitch downward, before a sense of realization seems to wash over him. "You're coming off anesthesia. You know who I am."
"Uh, no." Neil answers too confidently, because there was definitely no amount of anesthesia that could make him forget a face like that. "I think I'd remember you."
Or, Neil instantly falls head over heels for the stranger at his bedside. It doesn't matter that he's only known him for the past two minutes.
