Summary
Clarke Griffin recently moved to Annapolis, Maryland, thanks to her father's job relocating. Now, she has to go to Arkadia High School, a public school; a complete change from her old, private school life. She makes a few friends on her first day, but there's one that she immediately clicks with: Aden Woods. When Clarke and Aden are paired for a school project, she meets Aden's slightly older sister Lexa, whom Clarke can't help but feel attracted to. Lexa, however, attends a different school than Clarke and Aden. Lexa attends Polis High School for the Deaf.

Summary
For Clarke, the universe of Twitter is a home, a place where she can be herself without the expectations of her friends and parents, and she keeps it secret for that reason. However, she isn't expecting to meet a couple of people whom she begins to become pretty good friends with, and she definitely doesn't expect to meet Lexa. And Lexa, who is on Twitter really only because her best friend Raven demands it be so, isn't even interested in online friendships at all. That is, until she starts talking to Raven's new friend "C" on Twitter, and finds herself captivated.

Lexa closes her eyes for a moment - she got it all out and didn’t really embarrass herself or exposed herself too much, that was something to be proud of - before looking at Clarke again. She’s smirking, the playful glint in her eyes giving away her amusement. This probably isn’t the first time someone asked her to play pretend. Which shouldn’t surprise Lexa, yet, somehow, it does.
“So, you want, um... the girlfriend experience.”
