    ...since he no longer recognizes between what is real and what is not. He does not know if his eyes deceive him; if his breath is really his own. He no longer knows who he is and, therefore, what he must believe.

    But what if his eyes are not deceiving him? What if he is not really dreaming? The woman in the black suit no longer looks at him harshly, she looks at him with compassion, with pity, and he loathes it. He swallows, and mutters under his breath.

    "... Is no one really dead?"

    The woman nods.

    Because out here everything they had to endure they call Virtual Reality; everything lived and suffered was part of a cruel simulation and now it seems it's their turn to rest in peace. He never thought that peace would hurt so much, however.

    What was true? What was a lie? Who is right? And... and who...?

    "And who am I then?"
