Summary
“Adultery,” Raphael repeats plainly. “Infidelity.”
“Yes.” Astarion tosses his quill down. “It appears that I’ve spent the last few months drinking, fucking, and compelling people of our government. I recall none of it, mind you. But given Lilith’s absence, Halsin insisting that I not be left alone, and Shadowheart desperately praying for my damned soul—I can conclude that I have dragged myself into a bender that has wreaked havoc on my life as I knew it."
A sequel to the events of Hellish Rebuke. This story will not make sense if you have not read its predecessor.

Summary
When Astarion comes to in the glaring brightness of the midday sun, he thinks he's died for the second time. Or perhaps it's an illusion. A hallucination.
But no, it's none of that. The world has simply gone mad. The old rules are gone, new ones have been slapped on instead, and no one has bothered to explain anything to him.
Before Astarion has time to process any of this, he's thrown into adventure with a bunch of strangers – emphasis on strange. But it's all right. He'll survive. He always does, whatever it takes.
