Summary
For years there's been a saying that goes around U.A, "Beware the hybrid son", without any true explanation as to what it means. Aizawa has been teaching for years without problem (problem children do not count), completely confused as to what the saying means.
Izuku is excited for his first day at U.A, the countries biggest hero school. Hopefully his long time friend will be in the same class as he is, he does miss the chaos they created together.

The students of Gotham Academy were confused. It was International Friendship Week, and it was Gotham’s turn to host. Except no one wanted Gotham to host, not even Gotham! So the Directors of the Friendship Conference decided that it was in everybody’s best interest to skip the City of Crime and go straight to the City of Lights. Everyone thought that it was the perfect idea! Except for Paris. The Gothamites couldn’t help but laugh and scoff at the Parisians insistence that Gotham would be a much safer place than Paris, and nothing should change. And everyone, even one Damian Wayne, was thrilled when the petition went through, and they boarded the plane for Paris.

Marinette was happy to let Ladybug fade into obscurity after returning the Butterfly and Peacock miraculous to the Miracle box.
Moving to New York and accepting an apprenticeship with Aubrey Bourgeois at Style Queen Headquarters allowed Marinette to move past her complicated life in Paris. Devoting all her time and energy to her career had paid off, as Marinette’s fashion designer allis as MDC had reached celebrity status.
Attending a gala hosted by the infamous Wayne family as Aubrey’s plus-one sounded like the perfect opportunity to make her public debut as MDC. There was only one problem: the event would be held in Gotham City.
Rationally, Marinette knew she should feel apprehensive about visiting the city with the highest crime rate in the world. However, having spent most of her teenage years fighting a deranged supervillain had ruined her sense of danger.
