"the universe was made with love, and the people live for it as well; it is what connects us all."the goddess looked at the mythical being with their liquid-gold eyes, still innocent for all the terrible things they've done and witnessed, and only found confusion on their face.
she smiled. "take this glaze lily, for instance. do you know what keeps it alive?"
"no, not really," the dragon-qilin answered.
"it blooms when it hears a happy song, when it's near a source that radiates positive emotions. it, just like everything else in this universe, lives for its love of happiness." she tucked the flower behind the dragon-qilin's ear.
"love connects us all. is that not why you protect humans?"
love is the whole point. of it all. or; in which a dead goddess comes back to life, discovers the world she had woken up to, and reunites with a certain someone.
