In the year since Qi Rong was sealed in a lantern, Lang Qianqiu had managed to hold his mental state together and not kill the child left in his care. And just as he had fallen into a routine with the 5 year old Guzi, Qi Rong come out of his lamp to, as usual, fuck shit up.
Now both have descended back to the mortal realm and Lang Qianqiu is receiving increasingly urgent prayers for food, and seeing as the Green Ghost's diet was primarily made up of humans, it must be a cry for help from the poor boy in his care.
Lang Qianqiu can't bring himself not to feed Guzi so he does. But not Qi Rong. Lang Qianqiu doesn't care about Qi Rong.

Once the lecture was over, Xie Lian stood up abruptly, a sudden urge to talk to the youth blossoming inside him. He descended the stairs quickly, mindful not to bump into anyone, and waited near the door for the youth to appear.
When Xie Lian noticed the youth's face among the others, his heart quickened once again. He opened his mouth to speak, but no sounds emerged, a sudden and strange feeling filling his body, warmth spreading over his cheeks as he gazed at the youth's face from such a close distance.
Xie Lian found himself unable to utter a word, mesmerized by the youth's beauty.
