Summary
It would be vanishingly easy for Furina to turn Lumine away, to say that she’s just fine on her own. The lie is a specter on her tongue, practiced, instinctive.
But those were the lies of the Furina that mimicked Focalors, and Focalors is dead.
And Furina is so, so very tired of lying.
or: the bonds Furina forges after floodwaters and limelight. Set between Masquerade of the Guilty and The Little Oceanid.

Summary
Nahida has much to learn, but she already understands what a sanctuary means. She understands what a group of scholars is meant to be, and the history and intelligence that they bear. They offer a place to hide away, a place to study and grow, and in her first moments, nothing she knows tells her that she should refuse.
Before she enters the Sanctuary of Surasthana, the sages hold a festival for her. After joyous dances and celebrations, she is spirited away on a flower carriage, left to wave goodbye as she nears the palace doors.
If she knew then what she knows now, she would’ve stayed outside for longer.
or: Nahida's memories, imperfections and all.

Summary
As the hours slip by easily, and she can feel her article on Lantern Rite forming within her notebook, something else tugs at her, a story of chasms and carts and hoods to conceal a beacon of purple hair.
“Charlotte, focus on the piece you were asked to write,” she chides herself. “Everything else can come later.”
But still, as she looks up at Keqing, the woman happily entranced by what is now her second plate of Golden Shrimp Balls—
It means something when I think I have a story on my hands, doesn’t it?
or: Charlotte spends Lantern Rite with Keqing, and perhaps strays a bit far from the outline she had prepared for her Liyue article.

Summary
Her father never approved of her skills at the card table - said it wasn't honest work. Not like killing people for money, she supposed.
(Byleth has to hustle on the side to fund the Golden Deer's tea addiction; Claude finds the class checkbook and realizes that the math doesn't add up. A retelling of the GD route that slowly diverges from canon, starting with a game of poker.)

I'd consider this the flagship Fe3H novelization, it's just truly, simply, very good.

Summary
“Why?”
The siren tilts her head to the side. “What do you mean, why?”
“Why’d you do it?” Eula’s fists tighten around the wet fabric of her trousers. “Why’d you do all of — this — for someone you’ve never met?”
"Do I need a reason to save your life?" The woman says it so easily. Like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
—
to eula, the sea is freedom, hope, life itself.
(perhaps more literally than she'd imagined.)
