Summary
Her sorrows didn't shame him — they took the air out of his lungs, turned his stomach heavy and cold with a longing to put the pieces back together, not because she was pathetic or pitiful, but because her grief was real and utterly unyielding.
Much like his own, when rage could no longer fuel it.
Estinien and the Warrior of Light find solace and an unexpected bond in each other's company as they navigate the trials of the Final Days, revealing a shared strength born from their grief and determination to protect what remains.

Summary
⤗ Kinktober 2024 - Week 1 (yes, it's late)
He'd warned her. Told her to stay far, far away. That there had once been a time for his salvation, but it had long since passed. She hadn't a single hope of fixing him, had been a fool to even dare try, and now she knows he'll make sure she never does it again.

Tags and ToC will be updated as each fic is posted, and necessary content warnings will be included in the A/N at the top of each chapter. There's also a possibility I'll expand on any of them if the mood strikes, in which case, they'll get their own posts. Enjoy, and wish me luck!

Summary
They're in his room at Radz-at-Han, their clothes half-shed and discarded in heaps at the foot of the bed. She's settled herself in his lap, her bare chest pressed flush against his own, and he can hardly believe how unbearable the four days since they'd first entertained this have been.
Four long, torturous days he'd spent with the memory of her on the tip of his tongue, the ghost of her taste as persistent as a headache, his hopes strung along by six simple words:
"We should do it again sometime."

Summary
Everyone had expected her to break, to unravel at the seams all over again because history did so love to repeat itself. She should have felt insulted, resentful that she'd worked so hard on herself for all that time only for them to reduce her to the sum of her most damaged parts.
She would have, if not for the fact that, the moment she realized Estinien was gone, she stopped feeling anything at all.
