Summary
Naruto hadn't renounced to his future and his friends to save the world, not even to save a few lives. His decision had been purely selfish. It had been an opportunity to start anew and to break away from everybody's expectations.
He wanted to create his own path, very different from the one that Kurama had shown him– married to a girl he didn’t love and trapped with a job he hated–, and to give Sasuke a true chance at happiness.
