Summary
In the summer after the Tri-Wizard Tournament, a bored act of curiosity—sending a letter to Gringotts to learn about his mother’s family—accidentally and irrevocably reactivates a forgotten peerage thought lost after the First Muggle Great War.
No one outside his closest circle knows who the new Lord is, but old magic does: ancestral oaths awaken, political Houses not seen in decades begin to stir, and one thought-dead madman takes notice. Unwillingly, Harry must now become a reluctant power broker as bureaucracy, blood magic, even more bureaucracy, and secrecy drag him toward a throne he never wanted.
What begins as curiosity becomes obligation. Old Houses demand heirs, allies, and concubines; new friends translate clauses older than the Wizengamot. Between parchment and prophecy, Harry learns that power isn’t a choice—it’s a signature.

Summary
Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy had been courting, almost engaged. While she and Narcissa worked on her etiquette, her and Lucius meddled with her understanding of ancient house and blood magic.
Until one day, Lucius presents Hermione with something. A task of sorts. Unbeknownst to Hermione, she winds up back in time solely due to Lucius' bidding. Throughout this work, Hermione struggles with her morality and mortality and where to place her trust. Will she end up returning to Draco, or will she be stuck in the past before her?
