Summary
“This is Billy,” Eddie repeats smoothly. “From a premium litter.” His smile sharpens as he meets Steve’s gaze. “I thought he’d be a good match for you.”
With another nudge, Eddie pushes the creature closer. Steve watches, unease tightening his chest, as its claws dig into the carpet in visible distress—far longer and sharper than any human’s nails.
“I—” His throat clicks as he wets his lips. “I can’t accept this.”
Eddie exhales, sounding almost bored. “It’s a gift, Steve.” His hand settles atop the hybrid’s head, fingers stroking slowly over the soft ears. They flatten instinctively beneath his touch. “If you don’t want him, fine. I’m sure there are plenty of others desperate enough to take a hybrid off my hands.”
Steve sighs. He doesn’t even know how to care for a pet—let alone a hybrid.

Summary
Steve Harrington is going to be the next Alpha of the Hawkins wolf pack. It's something he's known since he was a child, and with Hopper getting ready to hand over the reigns, he's beginning to really feel the weight of his future responsibilities. Especially after what happened with his father.
The scars of what everyone in the pack only ever refers to as 'the event' are still fresh in Steve's mind and heart, even if it has been three years. It doesn't matter that none of the pack blame him for what happened, Steve can't help but feel like it was his fault. Starting his senior year of high school with all of that hanging over him would be bad enough, but then someone new comes to town.
Someone who smells like sea salt and sunshine. Someone who makes Steve feel like home.
Even if he is a human.

Summary
Steve has had suspicions that Billy Hargrove is a Submissive since he first arrived at Hawkins, and whilst he didn't know why he was hiding it, he figured it wasn't the worst thing in the world to let Billy pretend to be a Dominant. That was until the day Billy threw him into a locker.
Deciding to take things into his own hands, Steve Commands Billy back to his home and decides to take care of him. Whether Billy likes it or not.
Billy has been hiding what he is since he first presented, his father would kill him if anyone found out he was a Submissive. As such he's never received a Command from a Dom, nothing to keep him level and safe. So, when he hears one from Steve, he's unable to fight it.
He finds he hates it far less than he thought he would.
