Summary
Dom sighs.
"Remember when we first started dream sharing with Ari? She had just lost someone close to her." He pulls the photo closer.
"He was Ariadne's best friend from university,” he says, tracing the boy in the photograph with a fingertip. “Arthur.”
Now that just doesn’t add up. “That was three years ago,” Eames argues. “These pictures have to be more recent than that.”
“They were taken last week,” Dom replies.
“So what, he’s a fucking git who disappeared without a trace and broke her heart?” Even as he says it he knows it can’t be true. One look at Arthur tells Eames he’s not that kind of person.
Something is very deeply wrong.
