The sun beams with the bathing sensation, letting the chimera flop lazily on the thin grass, soft like a mattress. But why is the sun hiding under the dark, branches shade under his body while it was meant for the sun to shine bright for others. It’s as if the candle lit off, glooming in the dark after it had shunned for a very long time. Has he always been this pathetic for losing a battle that hasn’t even begun? Phainon could always try to win Mydei’s heart, learn a thing or two about Hephaestion’s relationship, or even ask if they were meant for each other?

In short, Phainon learned that Mydei mourns deeply for Hephaestion, claiming that he once fell for him. Now that they reunite, Phainon had no chance to win Mydei and chose to spiral in his own demise. But the Kremnoan Detachment boys took interest instead, and probably cheer him up?
