Summary
Todoroki gives him a serene smile. Kaminari, in the periphery, clutches at his heart like he’s just seen a miracle. Sero, who is actually quite used to Todoroki’s facial expressions because of all their time reading manga together, feels himself get misty-eyed.
Bakugou is stronger than anyone Sero has ever met, because even with that expression being directed at him specifically, he manages to keep his face pulled into a glare. Yes, his cheeks are pinker than usual, and his eyes go wide and soft for a moment, but Sero thinks that can be forgiven, considering the circumstances.
“The art of giving up is a valued one,” Todoroki informs Bakugou. His eyes twinkle a little. It’s a sight which would probably make Mt Lady start crying about how Todoroki will one day have the public eating from the palm of his hand. Too bad that it most likely indicates absolute villainy in motion. “Kaminari’s choice of movie at last week’s movie night taught me that.”
It probably says something about how much everyone lets Todoroki away with that they let it go on for so long.

He clicked on one purely because the subject read, ‘THE IMPORTANTEST EMAIL EVER 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀…’ with the godawful emoji going up to the character limit of the header. With a quick prayer to whatever force controlled his optic nerve, he buckled down to read:

Summary
There are two things that strike Mia as particularly odd about the application she receives to be the first intern ever at Fey and Co. Law Offices.
The first thing is the name on the curriculum vitae. It’s been a year, or just under, since she last saw it, but one can hardly forget the name of the reckless young college student who ate glass to save his demonic girlfriend.
The second thing that strikes her as odd about the application, of course, is that Mia is not looking for an intern.
