Before crashing into the sofa, he opened the windows hoping it won’t be too hot in the next hours until morning. The tired man did not even blink, just closed his eyes giving into the sleep.

Summary
As annoying as it might be, humans had urges and needs, and they were unfortunately still human, as far as they might have strayed from one’s concept of what a human should be like.
Urges… Such a silly concept that both of them had wished to flee from ages ago, but found themselves unable to. Dostoevsky knew well enough that Shibusawa found it all as bothersome as he did, to try desperately to detach from something so useless, and yet to find oneself being dragged back to it over, and over, and over again, with no hope to let go until one of them were to be found dead.
And even though he was well aware of that, Dostoevsky still found himself kissing the other back. Curse the primal urges and how much they took away from one’s coherent thoughts.

“You look beautiful in white, but I’m afraid this will have to come off.” Shibusawa remarks before he unclips the clasp on Fyodor’s cape and slides the fabric off his shoulders. “What a shame,” Fyodor smiles, slipping off his coat already and reaching for the buttons on his shirt. The blue-tinted light plays over the slender lines of his shoulders and waist.
“How long has it been?” Shibusawa asks, Fyodor doesn’t answer, only sighing when his bare body is laid down on the cool silk sheets of the bed. “Dazai,” Fyodor breathed, “Never wanted to do this”. Shibusawa’s hands trace over his pale skin, smooth and soft like a doll’s snowy cheek. “What a shame,” Shibusawa replies plainly, leaning down to kiss Fyodor again.

Shibusawa shows Fyodor just how much better of an ally he would make compared to Dazai.
