Summary
Her husband holds her close to him as he gently lifts her until her feet untangle from her hem, and he can set her upon the ground. He makes as if to step away from her, to leave her on her own, but quite unconsciously Elizabeth fists her hands into the lapels of his morning jacket.
“Don’t-“ she starts, and is unable to finish. He stops trying to move. Slowly, tentatively, his hands come up to cover her own.
“Elizabeth…” Darcy says, his voice low and rumbling. Another wash of heat starts over Elizabeth, and she cannot stop herself any longer - her body presses against his as she steps onto her tiptoes to press a kiss to his mouth, holding there longer than in the church. It is the second time they have kissed.

When Ben finally leaves his position as an instructor at the prestigious First Order Preparatory Academy, he takes a position as the new 5th grade teacher at Coruscant Elementary until he can find something "better." The pay is awful, and his students seem determined to make him quit before the year is up, but there is one undeniable perk to the job that seems to motivate him to try and make it work...the pretty kindergarten teacher in room 115.

It wasn’t like Ben Solo was hard to look at, scowl or not. He was, in Rey’s opinion, quite possibly one of the most beautiful men she’d ever laid eyes on. Built like the broad side of a barn, he was all sculpted muscles that strained at the buttons of his perfectly pressed Burberry suits. She’d been blessed more than a few times with a view of those poor buttons working overtime as he’d marched up to her desk, jacket off, sleeves rolled up, to hand her a stack of paperwork to be filed. His hair was a halo of gorgeous ebony waves that always seemed to look perfect no matter how many times a day he ran his hands through them pushing the shaggy locks off his face as he worked. She’d daydreamed more than a few times about running her fingers through those likely silken tresses and what sounds he might make if she tugged on them in a moment of passion. And his mouth. He had the most perfectly kissable lips that hid adorably crooked teeth. He would constantly do this…thing with his mouth when he was particularly focused; pursing his lips before worrying his lower lip under his teeth. Every time he did it Rey just wanted to kiss the poor abused flesh.
