Summary
Henry and Alex had never gotten along particularly well. Despite living in the same neighborhood and attending the same schools since they were eight they had never gotten particularly close. In fact, if Henry were to take a guess, he would think that Alex flat out hates him. Alex’s older sister and one of Henry’s best friends, June, is always quick to correct him. Alex doesn’t hate you, she would say. He just doesn’t understand you. Henry didn’t quite believe her.
They aren’t close. So Henry can’t help but wonder why he seems to be the only one who notices that something is wrong.

Summary
Alex can vaguely hear the audio, and that’s when he knew, he fucked up , playing in the back of his mind. It’s the track to his funeral, and apparently whatever sex-related-challenge-esque-expression Henry’s face is sporting at the moment.
That’s how he lands on his back, wrists gripped firmly in Henry’s hands, arms folded at the elbow and sitting next to his head. He bites his lip, refusing the giddy smile finding its way onto his face. This was his goal. It’s always his goal. It’s a lovely goal.
He starts, “You are…” but trails off as his gaze flits over Alex’s face, focusing on his lips before moving up again. Fully clothed, Alex feels exposed. Vulnerable. And, well, there’s no one else he’d be happier to be vulnerable with.
“A menace. A plague? Oooh, you’ve been using reprobate a lot recently.” A hum, just for kicks. “How’s-"
“Beautiful. You’re beautiful, Alex.”
