Lofter：DrowningDay

Summary
Flins had knelt in front of him, working Illuga’s glove off his hand finger by finger painstakingly slowly. Then, Flins shrugged off his own, both of their gloves resting against his thigh. He hadn’t looked away from Illuga at all—he was certain he wouldn’t have to, with how sure and precise his hands were with the motion.
Their fingertips brushed together, and just as Illuga was about to pull away, Flins leaned forward and interlocked their fingers together. The air around them seemingly disappeared, and Illuga felt as if time had slowed—the world around them coming to an abrupt halt.
Guiding has always been a hassle for Illuga. Flins has a solution.

Summary
“You kept your promise,” Illuga said. Flins’s hand was on his shoulder. “That you’ll come back in one piece.”
There was no distance to close between them. Flins’s hand slid down to Illuga’s elbow and stayed there, squeezing lightly. No, there was only Flins, his radiant face all aglow with something more than the moon. “For you, Master Illuga,” he said, “I’ll do anything.”
Illuga falls a little more in love with every visit to the island.

Summary
As an overworked vet tech at the Nod Krai Veterinary Clinic, Illuga is prepared for a lot of things, ranging from unpredictable exotic animals to demanding owners. He is not, however, prepared for the tall, imposing shadow of a man who carries an odd atmosphere into the lobby, causing every cat, dog, and bird in the room to go dead silent. Even stranger is the tiny, light grey Pomeranian cradled reverently in the man's arms, rushed to triage week after week for absurdly dramatic "medical emergencies."
So why does a guy who terrifies every animal in the city keep finding excuses to bring his perfectly healthy dog into their clinic?
