Summary
All over Teyvat everyone had a soulmate, someone who was the perfect other half of yourself, and completed you.
Each pairing of soulmates had their own soulmark that was a complete copy on each of their bodies, however the funny thing with soulmarks was, they hurt.
An aching pain every time your own soulmate experienced pain. It wasn’t very ideal, considering you’d feel what they felt, and of course there was the soul link.
Of course not everyone was fond of their soulmate to begin with, sometimes upon initial meeting there were adverse emotions, anger and hatred. But, the bond doesn’t lie and doesn’t make mistakes, so even if you were set on not accepting your soulmate upon your first meeting, you would end up forced together by some magical happenstance.
