Summary
The crew of the Revenge rescues a half-dead guy clinging to a log. He’s paranoid, jumpy, and somehow even more of a mess than the people who saved him. He doesn’t trust them. Izzy doesn’t trust him. But fate (and Stede Bonnet’s complete disregard for logic) has other plans.
//Izzy grumbled, tightening his arms across his torso, “This ain’t a charity, Bonnet. Could be a trap.”
Oluwande rolled his eyes, “Or it could be a half-dead kid.” Said kid stirred slightly, a crease appearing between his eyebrows.
Jim, still sharpening their knife in the corner, looked up, their face impassive. “Yeah, and half-dead’s still enough to stab us in our sleep.”//(31.03) yo, if you've read or are reading this just bear in mind i'm going to re-upload the first chapter with some minor adjustments to smooth out pacing and stuff in the next week, and upload at least the next 2 chapters at the same time.
