Yuma’s fingers move under Maki’s shirt just enough to splay his hand across the well-defined abdomen, but he makes no further advances.
“Happy now?” Maki asks in amusement, and Yuma makes a noise of acquiescence.
“Now it’s your turn.”
“My turn to what?”
“Be happy,” Yuma answers easily, just persuasive enough to make Maki want to talk. “Tell me what’s bothering you.”
Alternatively,
Yuma proves the effectiveness of a good cuddle as the ultimate cure for Maki’s shitty day.

Summary
“First,” Maki glances between them. “You have to promise you won’t like, lock me up. Or call the cops or animal control or something.”
“Did you murder someone? What’s going on?” Harua tilts his head in confusion, Yuma mirroring the concern on his face.
Maki sighs, finally giving up, even though neither Harua or Yuma have agreed to his promises. He yanks the beanie off of his head, his hair flopping down over his forehead, and something else.
It takes a moment for Harua’s eyes to adjust, but when they do it becomes clear why Maki was so worried.
He thinks they must be fake at first. They sell those kinds of things in certain shops and maybe this is just some elaborate prank Maki is pulling on them. There’s no way it could be anything else.
Or: Seemingly overnight, Harua's best friend Maki has grown two puppy ears and a fluffy tail.

Summary
Maki is fine. He's fine.
He has processed the moment, categorized it, shoved it in the "To-revisit-later" cabinet inside his head. Sure, it would be nice if he could scroll his phone without seeing it everywhere.
Especially cause every time he happens to come across it, he ends up watching it again. And again. And every time he does, he somehow manages to spot something new, something he hadn't noticed before.
All broadcasted in 4k, slowed down and zoomed in right in front of Maki's eyes.
He just wishes the kiss hadn't happened because of a game. And, even more than that, he wishes it hadn't happened right when Jo is about to leave for Japan.

Before he could do it, Euijoo speaks up. “Have we met before?”
He retracts his hand that’s reaching to grab the white napkin by the plate to look at Euijoo. Nicholas is sure Euijoo has a face he won’t ever be able to forget if he’s seen it in passing or somewhere else. Beautiful smile, upturned lips, tanned skin that makes him look like he’ll probably make Nicholas sweat under the blanket if they’re pressed up against each other because he just seems to exude warmth.
“No.” Nicholas says, he’s never been more certain about anything in his life. “I don’t think so.”
“You look—” Euijoo trails off, “very familiar.”
“If this is a pickup line about how I’m the man of your dreams, I’m going to walk out of this restaurant right now, Euijoo.”
