Summary
The person Will once was no longer exists.
At least, so it seems to Mike, who, after years of no contact, meets him and notices the changes right away. One night, Will says he hates him and would rather Mike die than see his face ever again.
He's not sure when it started, what led to it, or what could possibly cause it. However, he knows one thing for sure:
Will is not himself and probably is possessed again.
Only with further events unfolding before him does he lose the thread of logic in those.
Mike himself begins to see visions—the real horrors of the past, present, and future following him when he least expects them.
He's scared and lost, but he'll find out the truth whether or not his friends share his beliefs equally.

Summary
They've travelled countless lands, they've seen each other in pain, in sickness and in health. All their best and worst days shared together.
Of course, in those adventures, sometimes a warm bed and bath became a privilege. They were used to cold river water, each other's naked bodies and the fun that came with it.
Only once they grew up did something change. Their bodies obviously did, first of all, their minds as well. And looking at Will out of them all, it was hard not to notice how the once frail boy turned into someone resilient, strong and from that unforgivably enticing.
So, on their way, they make a stop and go to a pond to freshen up before sleep. And treacherously, the three of them can't stop staring at the silhouette of Will's body, once he gets out of the water to rest on the shore. And the same exact thought occurs to three: to touch that body and do a lot more. To share it.
Well, except, probably, for Michael, who doesn't seem very eager to share. Unfortunately for him, nobody cares.

Summary
Romantic relationships always lead to intimacy. And when you're exploring it and its borders with your beloved person, it becomes even better. However, it is also better for intimacy to stay private. Unfortunately, it is not Mike's and Will's case.
Will's parents accidentally walk on them during very much innocent making out, which is bad for two reasons.
First, they didn't come out to them yet.
Second, now there are rules, predictably coming mostly from Hopper. And after The Talk, they're even more scared to go further.
Mike doesn't want to follow the rules. Eventually, they'll face it, and he wants to be ready, both for Will and himself. Especially for Will.
So, he does the research. And then, well, uses theory in practice.
