Sebille finds herself lost after escaping The Master's thrall, only fuelled by anger and adrenaline. But as she experiences more of Rivellon, she begins to wonder if she kills for the right reasons. Lohse, a lackadasical musician, seems to think that she does. But they both know that morality is more complicated than the arbitrary labels one can assign to things.
Is Sebille even worth caring for? Is Lohse truly who she says she is? How can one make sense of the world when it's been turned on its head so many times?

Under the scornful and misogynistic eye of her parents, Amity is forced to be the perfect daughter, hiding her true self away from the world. She's never had the best luck with guys and wishes that her love life would start making sense.
As the reality of her world becomes clearer to her, Amity questions everything she's ever thought or known and explores her thoughts and feelings.
