Summary
Kaveh suffers from Hanahaki Disease, caused by his hopeless love for Alhaitham. Each morning, he coughs up blood-stained flower petals but hides his pain, refusing to admit his feelings. Tighnari is the first to notice something is wrong and tries to convince Kaveh to seek treatment, but Kaveh refuses. Worried, Tighnari asks Cyno for help. When Cyno learns the truth, he confronts Alhaitham and reveals that Kaveh is in love with him. Shocked, Alhaitham rushes home to confront Kaveh. At first, Kaveh denies everything, believing Alhaitham incapable of love. But Alhaitham confesses his feelings and assures Kaveh that he matters to him. With the truth finally out, the flowers in Kaveh’s lungs dissolve. They both embrace their emotions, and Kaveh is saved.
