After their second proximity incident, Draco had taken special care to note the specky git's whereabouts and behaviour; watching him with the corner of his eye whenever he could. And in his observation, he had noticed that while Potter did fumble around like a blind fool without his glasses, not once, once, did he pull anyone as close to his eye level to confirm their identity. It was only Draco. Only him. And Draco needed to find out why.

Regulus’ mood is as dark as the clouds gathering outside when he pads down the hallway and into the kitchen. He expects James to be off on his usual morning run through the city, but stops in his tracks at the sight of him leaning against the counter, arms crossed and a sly grin pulling at his lips.
“James,” Regulus says, voice surprisingly steady considering what’s in front of him, “what are you wearing?”
The answer is a thousand kilowatt smile—the sort James uses to get exactly what he wants. “Don’t you like it? I wore it just for you, love.”
