Summary
Vi can see Caitlyn's eyes soften as they find her lips. She swallows, so thick Vi can practically hear her, and Vi's own body suddenly fails her. The stuttering breaths that follow as she realises Caitlyn really isn't stopping, that this is really happening, are the last thing Vi can hear before it dawns on her that she's actually about to be kissed.
Kiss me? She wants to kiss me?
Or, the first kiss in the sewer tunnel (and all that came after).

Summary
Caitlyn admires how Vi looks laid out like this: her neck and face shining with sweat in the firelight, beautiful as ever. Her hair's gotten longer, so some of it sticks to her face and falls over her eyes with the sweat, her freckles even more beautiful under the firelight. Like something straight out of a painting.
Cait and Vi have tender sex by the fireplace on Caitlyn's birthday.

Summary
“How did you even manage to climb all the way up here in your condition?” Caitlyn questions her again, eyeing Vi from head to toe, and Vi doesn't miss the look of concern that's spread all over her face.
“I don't know, I just…” Vi repositions herself on the carpet, hands going up to her ribs where it hurt the most. “I didn't know where else to go.”
Or: Vi finds herself back in Caitlyn's bedroom after one too many drinks.

Summary
“You do know how to unbuckle this belt by now, no?” Caitlyn's accent slips out as she looks down her pants and back at Vi with a smile on her face, visibly a teasing one.
“You don't like it this way?” Vi stops in her tracks, voice slightly hesitant for a moment before she moves her hands to Caitlyn's pants.
“I'm just teasing you,” Caitlyn giggles and Vi's eyebrows relax at the view. “This way is good, too.”
Vi raises an eyebrow at her, the fond memory of their first time together making her lips curl into a tiny smile, and she retorts. “Just good?”
Caitlyn and Vi try something new.

Summary
When Caitlyn releases one hand to cup under Vi’s jaw, tilting her head up until their noses are brushing— she knows this is where they’re going to meet their destiny: on a path forked like a snake’s tongue. For better or for worse.
“Why have we never kissed?” Caitlyn asks, mouths so close that Vi can feel her words.
Vi’s fist tightens on her back, crumpling the material of her tank top in it. “Because we shouldn’t.”

Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman shook her head. “You can’t bring her back, Skye. No matter what you do. The universe doesn’t work that way.”
“The universe, no,” Skye acquiesced, “so these are your terms? I push the button I need to push to give you your gift, and you shoot me?”
“I won’t hesitate,” Caitlyn Kiramman promised.
Skye considered. She wanted to be around to see the gift be received - there was so much science in that to observe - but that wouldn’t be possible if she was shot.
“I accept your terms,” Skye replied, and raced to push the button as Caitlyn Kiramman pulled the trigger.

Summary
Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.
OR
Caitlyn's route to work as a detective at the 51st Precinct takes her right by Fire Station #516, and Vi's been pining after the gorgeous Mystery Woman for six months...what will happen when she finds out that Caitlyn's a cop (AKA: The Enemy)?

Summary
The concept is a bit foreign. Sure, Oikawa’s had girlfriends before, but all of them have approached him first. If a girl at school was particularly sweet or pretty or had a nice smile or knew a passing thing about volleyball, he might accept if (when—more like) they confessed to him, and then he’d be a perfectly polite, perfectly neglectful, perfectly distracted boyfriend for three or so weeks until they got sick of him. It’s routine for him, and by extension routine for Hajime.
But Oikawa liking someone is new. Oikawa thinking about someone in his free time—doodling little hearts in his notebook and staring wistfully as they pass by in the hallway and carefully trying to win their affections—it makes something weird twist in Hajime’s stomach. It doesn’t feel right.
