“Napansin ko lang...” Youngjae began, his voice quieter than before. He traced the condensation running down his beer bottle with his thumb. “Kapag nagiging seryoso na... parang ako 'yung unang umaalis.”
Dohoon chuckled, not in a mocking way, but rather in a teasing way. “Takot ka ata eh,” he remarked which made Youngjae turn his head. “Pft, di ‘no?” he said, drinking from his beer.
A beat passed, Youngjae sat in that silence reflecting on Dohoon's words, tapping his finger on the counter while staring blankly at the ground below. “Siguro?” he asked, unsure.
He let out a dry laugh, more at himself than the question. “‘Di ko rin alam.”
