Summary
Maricela Salamanca would not be involved in the family drug business.
Drugs are addictive, they made you crazy.
The Salamancas were crazy. Some say they come out of the womb with a piece missing. God must have forgotten to tighten the last screw before he sent the first Salamanca into the world.
You mix drugs with the Salamancas and what do you get?
Chaos.
Pain.
Heartache.
She never liked the family business. She witnessed what drugs did to her cousins and her uncle and wanted nothing to do with it. Whether it be the high, the power, the money, none of it brought peace. That’s all she wanted. To live as peaceful a life as possible with the Salamanca name.
That was until she met him. The man who would be her drug.Bookmarked by ayadamas

Will their friendship rekindle with the Cartel on the brink of war? Or will Ignacio push her away like he did four years prior?
Written in the perspective of an unnamed OC, "The Fox and the Swallow" depicts a young Nacho just as he's entering the world of the Cartel. How did it all begin? What was possibly at stake before we met him in "Better Call Saul"? Get ready for some angst.

Summary
“Then what do you live for?” Lalo asks a bit loudly. Like he was declaring something. But he speaks in that tone a lot, so Nacho tries to dismiss it. “What keeps you going?”
Nacho lets out a long sigh, taking a long drink as he thinks.
“Spite.” He soon lands on. “I'm alive out of spite.”
