Summary
Kel shoots another hoop. His basketball bounces off the rim and rolls against the floor until it hits the leg of Hero’s bed, and this time Kel doesn’t go to get it. He just flops back with a beleaguered sigh and drapes his forearm across his eyes. Sunny comes over to crouch next to him, waiting for his friend to speak, but after it starts to become clear that that isn’t happening, Sunny resorts to desperate measures. He pokes Kel’s cheek.
A brown eye peeks out at him, and Kel smiles sheepishly. “Sorry, Sunny. Guess you could kinda tell something’s on my mind today, huh?”
Sunny nods, yes. Something is very much on Kel’s mind. Probably his brother. But Sunny will let him say that himself.

Kel and Sunny both struggle after their older siblings have gone off to college, but Sunny has a bit of an easier time processing it. He won't let Kel deal with it alone, though.
