Summary
Dimitri had always known these submissive urges were wicked, forbidden. So he would push them down and condemn them to the back of his mind, never forgotten but always repressed. He had no right to these desires, and so they should be ignored. But Byleth’s presence, so confident and bright and strong, made it that much more difficult to deny what he truly wanted.
At the very least, Dimitri could bite back on verbalizing his desires out loud. Byleth didn’t need to know Dimitri wanted someone - specifically her - to lord over him, demanding and taking him in any way she saw fit, using his body and mind to reshape his wretched existence into something else, something better.
He didn’t want Byleth to know he craved to be ruined by her. To be disciplined, to be controlled, to be owned by her.
