Summary
[“Dimitri,” Felix says, voice low, and this isn’t Felix his shield, or Felix his friend, or even Felix his lover. It’s Felix his dominant, making a demand Dimitri neither wants nor dares to disobey. “Come to bed.”
“I won’t sleep,” Dimitri says. It’s not a protest; even as he says it he’s standing, picking up the lantern from his desk to take it to their bedchamber, but it’s a warning.
“I’ll make you sleep,” Felix says, in that same voice, the one that compels Dimitri to obey. Dimitri looks at him, a little startled at his vehemence, and Felix’s ears flush. “I have. A plan,” he says.
Dimitri eyes him. Felix’s face softens. “I won’t make a promise,” he says. “But…trust me.”]

Summary
There is Dimitri, clad in sinful wine-red. He is walking alongside Annette, with his hair tied in a low ponytail at the nape of his neck. His riding gloves are starch-white and pristine, and he has a belt cinched around his waist.
A belt. Tight around his waist. Accentuating how trim it is, how easy it would be to grasp with both hands and pull. It is so narrow in comparison to his shoulders. And he is smiling.
There is no question. Dimitri is doing this on purpose.
Felix makes a strangled sound, right at the back of his throat, before he leaps out of his seat and sprints for the door.

Summary
As Dimitri wades to the steps, wringing out the ends of his tunic, Felix leans against the pillar, and gives him an appraising once-over. “Well?” he asks. He tries to seem uninterested. “What did she tell you?”
He expects to hear about some divine message. Maybe the Goddess gave Dimitri some sort of mental guideline on how to unlock ‘the power within’, as that fortune-teller put it. Maybe she’d send them on a harebrained quest to reach his ‘inner self’, and Felix would have to put up with Dimitri for months on end.
None of this happens. Instead, Dimitri smiles. He looks at Felix; not at his eyes, but somewhere past his shoulder.
“I did not hear her today,” he says, mildly, before he turns his attention to his boots.
Five times Dimitri didn't cry, and one time he did. FE3H/BotW AU, written for Dimilix Week 2020.
