Summary
Joan hasn't had the great experience of being in a healthy relationship, so she takes it upon herself to pursue her idea of being in love. After being caught having sex with JFK during prom, she has isolated herself turned to alternative motives to help her get through the humilation. JFK is confused about his feelings and is lost within his conundrum of thoughts, whether to return to be a popular womanizer, or finally become dedicated to a relationship with a lonely angst-written goth girl.
