Summary
The job was supposed to be simple, if morally wrong. Kill the crew, steal the ship, get paid. Like, get paid a lot. Enough to get him and Sykkuno off the shithole that was Stars Co. Mars Extraction Site, enough to set them up somewhere on Earth, and potentially enough to get some kind of medical attention for his chronic pain. Simple.

“You guys really asked him?” Sykkuno could hardly believe it. It seemed like such a long shot. The party was fun, sure. His friends were nice people and Corpse seemed to like them too. But it wasn't like these were Corpse's only friends. Corpse didn't seem the kind of guy who liked partying so much that he'd get in his car and drive all the way to Los Angeles. Besides, he was always so busy. “He wanted to drive all the way here, for – for a party?”

And for some reason he was starting to panic now, because Big bro was still glaring daggers at the side of his face, and the suited men standing close behind started to look a lot more intimidating.

Summary

His father later tragically perished too, leaving behind nine year old Mizuki Kawano, after getting himself into debt with the Hashimoto clan.
Mizuki does not know of freedom, but when a surprise encounter during a Talon mission catches him off guard, Mizuki finds himself straying a new and dangerous path. Will Mizuki be able to free himself of his family curse, or will straying from the Hashimoto be the final nail in his coffin?
