Summary
Seven years have passed. Seven years since Luz Noceda first stumbled into the Boiling Isles and away from the life she knew before.
At first, she enjoyed herself. She made new friends. She learned new things. She experienced the ultimate form of escapism made up of witches, magic, friendship, and eventually, love.
But what happens when the summer adventure extends indefinitely? What happens when the family she has built is rocked by tragedy, when the Day of Unity comes and goes and nothing is better for it? The Boiling Isles are safe from destruction, yes, but the island that is Luz Noceda is seemingly adrift once more as mentor and friend are ripped away by the tide.
To what ends will she go to get them back, to try and return home?
How will Amity Blight contend with the grief and guilt that threatens to consume them both?

Summary
For the first time in her life, Cassandra is alone.
Only a week after the attack on Corona, Cassandra finds herself spared and allowed to leave the kingdom she had always called home. She will struggle with loss and grief, and will try to discover who she is while away from everyone and everything she's ever known. She'll build new friendships, mend old ones, and reflect on relationships that were never truly realized, all while grappling with the specters of her past deeds and trying to stifle the latent remnants of a power she never really wanted in the first place.
This story is about exploration, both of the world outside of Corona, and the world within Cass herself. Who knows what she'll find?
