Summary
“Now your favorite part,” Jerry said, trying to keep things light. He pulled the blindfold from his pocket, “Stop me when it gets too tight.”
Wayne bent his head forward, letting Jerry drape the blindfold across his eyes. Not a single Fifty Shades of Grey joke was made, which was an improvement over last time. Jimmy still blushed when it was brought up.
or, the one where Bruce Wayne keeps getting kidnapped, and Brucie starts growing on his kidnappers.

Summary
Jason gave his goon a consoling pat on the shoulder. “So who do you think is the Batman?”
Pete immediately perked back up. “Taking being rich into consideration, we’ve also gotta know he’s super athletic and was probably out of the public eye. Preferably for a long period of time in which he could’ve been turned into a vampire and got accustomed to his new powers. So, a super rich, athletic, vampire hottie who disappeared from the public eye in early adulthood and is now pretty infrequently sighted. There's only one obvious choice.”
Jason held his breath, somehow this idiot was actually getting remarkably close to the truth.

Summary
Bruce went out not on the anniversary of his son’s death but on the day he arrived, the same day he stole the tires off of the Batmobile. He bought a brand new book, a fantasy novel that Jason would have loved, and didn’t leave the library until he finished reading it.
When he got home, he quietly placed it in Jason’s room. He hasn’t been in there since.
Alfred, who’s patience was wearing thin with the destruction, with the bullet holes that Jason brought with him when he returned, took him to his old room. But it was Alfred, even thin, his patience never waivered. Together they went through all of Jason’s old things with a steady, slow process that made Bruce more uncomfortable than stepping into that room in the first place.
He kept the book Bruce bought, even though he didn’t recognize it.

Some of the kids that Bruce raised turned into heroes, and some of them were still struggling just to be good. All of them though, were fighters. Justice was something he taught well.

Summary
Stephanie did not know Robin well. She knew of him, of course, everyone in Gotham did.
Stephanie Brown was ten years old when Jason Todd died. She had been seven when he first became Robin, and she had watched him on the news with her mom, cheering him on. She remembered dressing up as Robin when she was eight, and was asked if she was the Girl Wonder.
“Nope!” She replied, thinking of the second Robin, not the first. “I’m the bird!”
When the people of Gotham got together and told stories about the boy who fought for them, about the way that they could tell he made their streets safer and helped out Batman, when Commissioner Gordon- -Jim, who she’d get to know a lot better later in life- -told stories about him- -the twelve year old boy who never hid under Batman’s cape like the one before him, but smirked and grin, and read Pride & Prejudice even when on patrol- -Steph sat by, ten years old and quiet.
She thought, this is what I want to be.
-
Steph was never invited to a single Justice League meeting. She was a hero. She went anyway.
