Sometimes TK needs this, for Carlos to take the lead and help him get out of his head. Sometimes, it’s Carlos who needs to relinquish his desire to be in charge and just stop thinking. But after a day like today where everything has seemingly gone wrong, Carlos needs to feel like he’s the one in control. It shouldn’t surprise Carlos that TK had looked at him with his pretty sea-green eyes and knew how to give him exactly what he needed, even when he didn’t know himself, but sometimes the reality of being known catches him off guard.

“You wanna show them who I belong to?” He asks once he draws back, mouth red and lips inflamed. TK’s breath becomes more ragged and he releases a faint sound that Carlos thinks could be a whine. “Oh, I get it,” He whispers, nipping onto his fiancé’s jaw. “You wanna show them who belongs to me.”
TK’s hips buck and Carlos chuckles, the sound rich and deep. He lies back and splays his body across the machinery, something stirring in his groin when his fiancé pushes himself up and rubs their crotches together.
“Come on, baby,” Carlos mutters, words wrapped in a carnal vice. He wraps both hands around TK thighs and smirks. “Take control.”

TK和Carlos遇到了TK在纽约一起鬼混的朋友，牵扯出那段混乱不堪的过往，对于TK的父母、对于Carlos、对于爱他的人来说sober TK是勇敢的，everybody will be proud of him，但是对于曾经那些“朋友”来说他是背叛者是抛弃者，TK一点都不想回忆在nyc的日子，但又无法对曾经的朋友置之不理，阴差阳错地把其中一个人带回了Tarloft，结果半夜发现自己以为已经戒毒的朋友还在吸，甚至把drug带回了他们家。最后TK意识到自己根本无法拯救他们，他没办法做任何事。
这篇看起来好唏嘘，困在drug里爬不出来的堕落者和走出来了过上平静幸福生活的新生者之间的对比，TK是难得的幸运儿，但也正如文里描述的，他的勇气和善良，永远在发现别人需要帮助时即使自己受伤都要伸出援手的心性，让他值得身边所有人的爱。Carlos依旧是那个无比supportive又有点possessive的好老公，（（每次出去玩都自己先喝一口确认TK的饮料里没有酒精真的太辣了🥵（？
