Summary
After mass, Water joined the group of people gathering in the courtyard walkway, watching not the sky but the stone floor for the water drops to fill in spaces between each other. There was a buzz of excitement amongst the watchers, there hadn't been a proper rainstorm in a while and any change in weather was a welcome change of pace. And sure enough, within minutes the fine drizzle became a heavy downpour. A few stubborn groups had to sprint back inside with soaked blankets despite the rumbling warnings from the sky and their peers. But they didn't seem to be upset, they whooped and hollered as they hurriedly made their way back to the dry safety of the abbey.
