Summary
After a team loses, one player is given a curse that’ll only be lifted once the team wins again.
Will had never been cursed, and he seemingly jinxed that.
The next thing he knew, he’d woken up with cat features. Mack seemed more than pleased.

Summary
After being partners for 3 years now, Mack can feel his relationship with Will growing apart and he doesn't know how to fix it.
He remembers those times when everything was simple and private, but it all’s missing its meaning now. Everything they do is awkward. Will drops Mack home and doesn't invite himself in anymore.
It's written all over Will's face. His eyes shine differently as well. Mack feels that he might die staring at those ice-cold blue eyes, looking back at him frightened.
Mack's got no sleep. All he thinks is Will, but it's like Will doesn't even remember his existence anymore.
Does Will want to drift away? Did Mack do something wrong? He is trying his best to be the best friend Will could have. Maybe that's making everything worse.
Maybe Will doesn't.
But Mack still feels the same.- Language:

Summary
Mack didn’t know how it got this bad. If he could turn back time to before he decided to follow Will wherever he went. He would do it in a heartbeat. Because right now Will was breaking his fucking heart.

Summary
Maybe it’s the Universe’s way of giving Macklin a chance at winning, he thinks on his way to warm-up. Maybe it’s not a curse, but an opportunity — and one that’s never been given before to anyone else. Maybe the Universe itself wants Macklin to win this game and as soon as he does, his life will go back to normal and he’ll come out stronger and better. This must be it, he thinks hopefully, desperately, grabbing onto the last shred of sense he can make of this whole thing. This must be it. It’s not a coincidence that he is stuck on the day of one of the biggest games of his career. Therefore, he must take his chance — chances, tens, hundreds, however many he is given — and make his run for it
