Summary
After his second death in canon, Madara is sent back in time to a year after the village’s founding. To his surprise, he stays in the village.
Hashirama raises his cup. Sighing, Madara raises his cup in turn and clinks it against Hashirama’s. Both of them sip their sake, and Madara places his cup down, giving Hashirama a considering look. Then, Madara leans forward to rest his head on Hashirama’s shoulder, and he smothers a smirk at the sudden spike he feels in Hashirama’s chakra.
With a moment’s hesitation, Hashirama wraps his arm around Madara.
“Come home with me?” Hashirama asks.
From where he’s smushed against Hashirama’s shoulder, Madara gives a slight nod.

Summary
“At this point,” Tobirama drawls, hands some notes to the waiter and then waves him off with a flick of his wrist, “I’m surprised the two of you haven’t clocked on to this… domestic, housewife thing you have going on.”
Hashirama, surprised, asks why.
“Well,” Tobirama says with a heavy sigh, “the only thing you do all day is prepare meals, read some blogs and go brunching. And then he comes home and he pays the bills. It’s disgusting.”
In which Madara and Hashirama share an apartment, and a routine. Madara is Hashirama's best friend, after all. Maybe more than just a friend, really. But it'll take Hashirama a while to figure it out.

“You know,” Olivia says, “We haven’t hung out together in a long time. We should grab dinner—what's your schedule like next week?”
And man, she’s good. She’s real good, because Viola can’t think up a good enough reason to beg off dinner. The little flutter in Viola’s stomach is back again—fear this time, definitely fear—but Viola masters it long enough to let Olivia know that her schedule is pretty much open, “Open as the sky! Ha ha ha,” Viola says, wishing for a quick and merciful death.
“Awesome,” Olivia says. “Let’s do 7 p.m. on Thursday—I’ll text you the address.”
And just like that, it’s fact.
