‘Friends’—what a suffocating word.
Beomgyu takes a sip of her iced latte, already dreading the rest of this conversation, "We've known each other about four or five months now, I think?"
It’s a relatively short time all things considered but it feels like an eternity to her. A lot of people use ‘eternity’ with a negative connotation, describing moments of boredom or suffering, but when it comes to Soobin, Beomgyu thinks of it like an indulgence, a promise that more of what they’ve already had is to come—it’s infinite.
Beomgyu likes ‘eternity’ a lot more than ‘friends’.
Beomgyu and Soobin have a near perfect relationship behind closed doors but sometimes Beomgyu finds herself wishing it could be public too.
