When Franziska has run out the precinct, Miles finally looks at Phoenix. The malice and fury in Phoenix’s eyes sends a sharp stab through Miles’s heart, but he keeps his composure; above all, he can keep his composure. This never changed.
“Wright,” he says, eyeing him with a challenge of sorts. “It’s been a while.”
“Edgeworth.” Phoenix’s voice is dripping with hate and emotion. “I thought you were dead.”

“Edgey!” Larry’s tears started all over again. “Y-you’re the greatest guy I know!”
“I would do anything to help a client—but you’re special,” Miles smiled at him. “You’re my best friend. And you’re not going to jail on my watch.”
“Wonderfully put, Miles,” Gregory said. He opened his briefcase and got up from the couch, handing Larry a tissue. Larry turned to accept it, then threw his face back into Miles’ jacket, loudly blowing his nose against his chest. “I think you’ll do just fine.”

Miles Edgeworth is a brand new defense attorney, and a mentee underneath his father at the Edgeworth and Co. Law Offices. Phoenix Wright is a star prosecutor underneath the tutelage of the well-renowned and well-feared Manfred von Karma. Miles hasn't seen Phoenix since the 4th grade, but one fateful day in court, their paths cross for the first time in 15 years.

Eddie Munson wore shirts that showed off his torso and chipped black nail polish that looked fantastic when he played the guitar and he was everything that Steve Harrington most definitely was not. Steve Harrington managed to score a spot at a prestigious university through a combination of daddy’s money and impressive athletic ability. However, his charms as a star athlete hadn’t been enough to bury his increasingly evident bisexuality or win the heart of his dormmate, who definitely hated his guts.
It didn’t matter, though, because Steve hated Eddie right back. And, hey, it’s normal to check out your sworn enemy’s ass every once in a while.
