Enid parts her lips, hoping to catch a mouthful of the cinnamon scent that usually only clings to Wednesday’s pillow.
Wednesday watches her with a neutral expression. “You have a strange look on your face,” she murmurs.
“Oh, yeah?” Enid hums, thinking, you’ve seen it before.
Wednesday probably doesn’t remember. It was years ago, and anyway, it’s not like they’ve had a wide dearth of sexual experience since. She and Wednesday have never even kissed, let alone fucked.
The closest they’ve come was that ill-fated time Enid was getting off in her bed, spread-eagled, and Wednesday accidentally walked in on her.
