Summary
"Bite him."
From the back of the iron cage, shrouded by darkness, a pair of bloodshot eyes blink back at Angela. She grips the unconscious man's arm tighter, pushing it further past the metal bars. He makes a weary, dazed grunt as he's moved around, and Angela looks back to the figure huddled in the corner, nodding down expectantly at her offering.
The creature doesn't move, though its breath is heavy, and its eyes are dark and hungry. She tightens her jaw, the corner of her lips quirking downwards.
"I said, bite him."

Summary
"Take that cigar out of your mouth!"
Aware only now that Silco had entered the office, a young Jinx hurriedly pulled the cigar away from her lips, fumbling with it in shock before it fell to the ground with a pathetic thump. Ashamed and fretting, her eyes quickly fell to the warped planks beneath her mismatched shoes, knees knocked together and chin to her chest. Closing the distance between them, he stared down at the child, her hands guiltily fiddling with the hem of her shirt.
Silco pinched the bridge of his nose and knelt to meet her gaze. Jinx was quiet for just a moment before, sheepishly, she spoke- "Just wanted to be like you, 's all," she mumbled, and Silco sighed, the cigar tin cold against his chest. "Don't smoke." He murmured, meeting her eyes. "It's unhealthy."
She frowned deeply, a rebuttal instantly on her tongue. "But you, you-"
Silco's lips tightened, his eye closing as he raised a hand to quiet her. "Do as I say," he began slowly, waiting for the response, and Jinx groaned, her arms falling to her sides.
"Not as I do." She huffed back, indignant, and the conversation was over.
