Summary
Kirk and Spock are the best of friends, to the point that people are starting to think it's a little weird.
Surely Spock can be friends in the Vulcan way, and Jim can be friends in the human way, and both can get what they need from it. Jim can have his lovers and Spock can have his secrets, so long as they both know where they stand with each other.
But when an accidental telepathic link makes Spock an unwilling spectator of Jim's sex life, it gets hard to keep up the boundaries that make their friendship work.

Set 5(ish) months post canon. Title is from “Little Things Mean a Lot” by Kitty Kallen, which was the biggest song of 1954. Our thesbians probably heard this song on the radio constantly that year.
