Summary
"D'you mean it?"
He’s spent the whole week pushing against it. What he’s doing when he looks at Atsumu. What his eyes do with the image of him, the close-enough, the memory of someone else so easily painted onto what's before him. He fixes his gaze on Atsumu’s chest, lets his vision blur. He’s tall. Lean. Sun-kissed. It's close enough.
It won’t make him feel better, and Hajime doesn’t care. He drank himself here deliberately. He wants it anyways.
“Yeah,” Hajime says. “I mean it.”
Iwaizumi, and a couple years of distance, drunk on memory. The primitive ways we cope. -

Summary
Or maybe it’s just the Argentinian national team shirt. In the dim, the blue could be mistaken for Seijou teal. Or the cobalt of Kitagawa Daiichi. Maybe that’s Oikawa’s cosmic trajectory, Hajime thinks—forever graduating from one shade of blue into the next.
In which Oikawa returns to Tokyo for the Olympics. In which it's been a while. In which the reunion is clumsy.Series

Summary
Really, Oikawa-san? You know, you could always just stay here with me for a bit!
Oikawa violently beat down the grin trying to spread across his face, and swirled the water around in his glass as if it were a fine vintage. You know, shorty-pie. I’ll think about it.
And that’s when it was agreed upon.
Oikawa Tooru slips, tumbles, and falls into the beach, and later the suddenly-very-well-muscled arms of his old high school rival. Cue emotional whiplash.Series

Summary
Sakusa doesn’t say anything, he just keeps his eyes on Kuroo. A pause. He lowers his wrist, slowly wraps it in the fingers of his opposite hand. There’s a mole on his index finger, right beside the second knuckle, a pinpoint reminder of the two on his forehead. Sakusa tightens the grip on his own wrist until the skin flushes white, holds it out further for Kuroo to see. “You show me,” Sakusa says.
“What?”
“The muscle. Pronator quadratus. Show me where it is. On me.”
Sakusa Kiyoomi is a pre-med. Kuroo Tetsurou is an organic chemistry major. They are roommates. Oh my god, they are roommates. -

Summary
It is not often that Oikawa Tooru finds himself entirely helpless. Being trapped in an elevator is something he could deal with, he thinks; being trapped in an elevator thirty minutes before Olympic tryouts, even, is something he could deal with; being trapped in an elevator thirty minutes before Olympic tryouts with “Miya Atsumu” can surely be nothing other than some morbidly-timed divine retribution for crimes he must have committed in a past life.
(Miya Atsumu and Oikawa Tooru get stuck in an elevator together. Oikawa Tooru hates it until he doesn't.) -

Summary
Now, the words are prophetic, impossible, inevitable; Hinata finds himself laying in bed seven years and a lifetime later considering the possibility that a second-year Miya Atsumu had somehow stood feet shoulder-width apart on the sweat-smeared court of Tokyo’s Metropolitan Gymnasium, pointed a finger at Hinata’s face, and seen into the future.
Miya Atsumu has an attention span of seven years.Series

Summary
It’s not fair, Atsumu thinks, the way things went. That Hinata spent two years pedaling through the streets of Rio De Janeiro before feeling he’d earned his return home. That Kageyama served five aces in a row against France. That Atsumu waited seven years between promising Hinata he’d toss to him and doing it. That he’d waited another six months before pulling him into the sidestreet behind his apartment and pressing their lips together.
Atsumu takes Hinata home from Black Jackals tryouts. Hinata takes him to Brazil.Series

Summary
Oikawa Tooru cannot ski.
He was injured, two years ago, by his current boyfriend, Kuroo Tetsurou. Kuroo ran into him during a race, fracturing his right kneecap and tearing three out of four vital ligaments from his bones, turning his world on its end and permanently barring him from the slopes.
In atonement for this, Oikawa made Kuroo promise never to ski competitively again. For two years, Kuroo has kept that promise, maintaining a seasonal career as a ski instructor and keeping his racing skis locked away in his closet.
Enter Bokuto Kotarou. Gifted snowboarder, infamous troublemaker, and local celebrity at Niseko mountain. After shoving a kid into a ditch and very nearly getting into a fight with Kuroo, his presence threatens to tear apart the promise the skier has so carefully upheld.

Summary
For six months of their first year at Karasuno, Kageyama and Hinata were stuck next to each other biology class.
Their teacher was the one responsible for their placement, as he’d been clued in to their bickering nature by a scheming Sugawara and soon resolved to get them to work out their problems--by forcing them to sit next to each other. He took the two of them aside one day and explained the situation, and with great glee led them back to their now-shared desk.
“Learn to be friends, will you?”The two boys looked at each other, then at him, and shook their heads.
