The voice is faint, but it’s not hard to extrapolate when he’d been listening to it dissect his entire undeath for the more tumultuous part of the past month. All he can blurt, both out loud and through the connection, is, “Daniel?”. Lestat squawks something from the shower.
Thank fuck, Daniel answers, bright with relief. Then a moment of long silence.
So. Slight, uh. Hiccup.
Louis takes the confirmation with all the grace of a brick shattering through a window. “No,” he says, “no, he didn’t.”

Fukuzawa instructs Kunikida to create a group chat between all of the members in the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia. He believes it will be important to keep in touch while they work together... or so he says. Perhaps he just wants to see the shit that goes down?
Read for a whole lot of crack, which does actually have a plot, I swear. After being asked for angst, there has been quite a bit. It's a good mix of both! Mostly chat style with some prose sections later on. A lot of attention on minor characters as well!
UPDATE (March 9, 2023): THIS FIC IS NOW UNDER EDITING!! It will not be taken down, but I am editing it in chunks of about 10 chapters at a time! I will keep updated here where it has been updated to until it is finished!
