Summary
“What happened to the man who smashes antique mirrors on parties and has to be bailed out of prison?”
Despite the reminder of that awful night, Wilson smiled. After all, it was the beginning of their friendship. House claimed that he had been awfully bored that night, and he probably had been. But the implication was that he had found Wilson interesting enough to help him out and not leave his side for the following years. And a huge part of him was proud of this. Maybe just as proud as he was of the lives he’d saved. It was not easy to catch Gregory House’s attention, most of his patients failed this test every day.

Summary
House gave a small nod, eyes still firmly shut, breathing heavily. Wilson felt immense relief at that, immediately washed away by a strong sense of guilt. He should want House to feel better, and he did. But deep down, in a selfish corner of his screwed-up heart, he knew that House would always need him, and that, thanks to his condition, he would never leave Wilson. It gave him control, and control was almost as addictive as Vicodin.

Summary
Wilson had already gone home.
Maybe House had been too hard on him; his wives were always a delicate topic and it happened, sometimes, that House swerved off the road of what they both considered safe territory for their mocking. But that was nothing a little take-out, paid for by House with Wilson’s money, couldn’t fix. Wilson would pretend to be mad, House would call him sensitive, they would sit on Wilson’s couch and watch General Hospital. Depending on the quality of the food, Wilson might even allow him to put his feet on the coffee table without complaining.
Something that could have been considered a smile tugged at his lips as he took the elevator down to the entrance hall. Who needed marriage if they could have this whenever they felt like it?
